IN TIME

"..творческий диалог, в котором феноменальность – «игры по правилам» – теряет свои устойчивые смыслы, переходя в образность новейшего времени, в торжество нелинейного равновесия, в непосредственность импровизации play. «InTime» подтверждает, что художник всегда действует вовремя, открывая реальность в ее незащищенности и бескорыстии, обнаруживая абсолютно скрытые процессы времени, неотделимые от жизни пространства"
(Sorry for russian - it's completely untranslatable)

First of all, I have to say one important thing about this exhibition - I didn't get it. So my opinion here is absolutely subjective and probably doesn't match opinion of the artist, who made this exhibition.
The idea of this exhibition is really deep and complex, my inference - analyzing of Time abstracting from human value judgments, an attempt to rethink it's function in our lives. Also it was in searching of new symbols and artefacts that could make it more material. The Author was like some alchemist, showing something really strange and saying like: "This is not a wheel with sandclocks - this is machine, by using which you can stretch hours in a day".

Actually, I think it can be quite interesting from the point of view that some physical object, depending on the purpose for which it serves, begins just live by the laws of it's function and exists as if in two universes. For example, the computer or the phone from which you are reading this, exists both in physical world and in some virtual system, which have completely different laws and measures.

metaphysical cuckoo and existential fungus
My favourite installation is on the left - funny obelisk with a huge mushroom on it. Firstly I thought author tried to show his inspiration, but description nearby said that this was cuckoo-clock, and cuckoo jumps out in some random time, saying something. "The meaning of message of cuckoo hasn't been deciphered yet." - was written there.
